I was honored to cover some beautiful songs over the past few weeks for some good friends. An old friend requested that I sing/play “I Will Be Here” by Steven Curtis Chapman for her wedding in Hawaii. She surprised her husband on their wedding day! I also got the opportunity to cover “All Good Gifts” from the musical, “Godspell.” What an awesome, but challenging song! The parents of a former student of mine are celebrating 25 years of marriage and they will be renewing their wedding vows in October! “All Good Gifts” will be played while they walk down the same aisle they did 25 years ago. Vince Nims, Nelson Gonzales & the FOJ Band, and I are proud to support the Catholic Charities’ Refugee Resettlement Program. This is going to be such a great event for a great cause. All proceeds with go to help provide basic necessities, housing, education, jobs, and resources to aid refugees in settling into their new life. Come out and support a great cause and enjoy an awesome concert!
